The Parent society

If you join the Parent society :-

- you will be sent 4 attractive journals a year

- be entitled to select from a wide range of seeds published in a yearly list (prices 20 to 40p a packet)

- be entitled to attend various activities of the society

- be able to attend meetings at nearly 100 branches in the UK.

- optionally, receive Bradleya once a year, a very respected journal aimed at the more technically minded, or botanists.

It does the following

- Sets the rules for the 100 or so branches, and runs such activities as the National Show, held every four years.

- It takes part in conservation activities, contributing to the preservation of plant habitats.

- Supports research work in the medium of published documents on Succulent plants

- Joining the society is achieved by writing to

  The Membership Secretary, D. V. Slade, 15 Brentwood Crescent, Hull road, York, Y010 5HU, enclosing a cheque for £15 if you are a UK adult, £12 if you are 65 and over, £20 or $38 US if you reside outside the UK.
